You are the spearhead of the rebellion. Your exceptional skill in directing designers and copywriters in ideation and execution creates disruptive work that is remembered and coveted. The Associate Creative Director (designer/art director) or ACD is accountable for aligning creative with strategy, user experience and technology. Your ability to understand clients’ business problems and achieve their objectives across all media through strategic solutions is essential. Besides being a brilliant designer and concepter, an ACD mentors other designers and direct copywriters, photographers, illustrators and other vendors. You collaborate with other departmental heads to ensure seamless integration and communication. You possess exceptional orchestration skills to rally your team(s) and lead multiple accounts. Your strong presentation skill sells the work and keeps it sold. You give clients the guts to overturn what isn’t working.


  • • Serves as creative lead and manages creative teams on major accounts
  • • Manages small, medium, and large size brands, projects, and teams of creatives
  • • Helps support strategic and visionary direction of the Creative Department
  • • Spearheads new business pitches
  • • Works with Creative Director to ensure that creative exceeds space150 and clients' expectations
  • • Creates and executes award-winning work that achieves clients’ objectives
  • • Responsible for creating brand-on, strategy-on compelling creative online advertising campaigns for assigned clients
  • • Understands and translates client’s business objectives, brand, consumer and competitive landscape to creative team that help lead to insightful ideas
  • • Expands personal knowledge of design and current state-of-the-art techniques. Has an excellent understanding of digital best practices and exhibits versatility
  • • Expert in conceptual thinking and big ideas
  • • Expands personal knowledge and versatility beyond current expertise through seeking out new and interesting technologies, strategies, mediums, and ideas


  • • Directs all phases of creative work for accounts from concept through production
  • • Effectively and efficiently applies conceptual strategy, brainstorm facilitation, day-to-day directing of a project to launch
  • • Interacts with clients at director level


  • • 8+ years of digital and/or advertising design/art direction experience
  • • Strong creative portfolio
  • • Extensive client engagement experience
  • • Significant experience in graphic design and typography
  • • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
  • • Experience managing team(s)
